Over 160 cancer survivors' celebrate life at Pottstown Memorial Medical Center's 28th Annual Cancer Survivors' Dinner

Pottstown, PA – October, 2015 – Pottstown Memorial Regional Cancer Center (PMRCC) held its 28th Annual Cancer Survivors’ Dinner on Wednesday, September 23, 2015 at Sunnybrook Ballroom in Pottstown, PA. Over 160 cancer survivors were honored and celebrated their remarkable milestone with family members, close friends, and the Pottstown Memorial Regional Cancer Center oncology staff.

To recognize their strength and courage, the following awards were presented to designated patients and caregivers: Caregiver Award, Stretch the Ride Caregiver/Survivor Award and Cancer Survivor Courage Award. “National Cancer Survivors Day is a day of reflection of the strength and courage that cancer survivors exhibit as they battle their cancer diagnosis,” says Peggy Neese, RN, BSN, OCN, Director of Oncology Services. “PMRCC’s Annual Cancer Survivors’ Dinner gives cancer survivors the opportunity to connect with other survivors and unite with family, friends, and medical professionals who have helped them along the way.”

Honorees and guests in attendance were also entertained with musical melodies by Kevin Bentley and Dr. Kerry Burrell.
