Pottstown Memorial Medical Center names Employee of the Year
Pottstown, PA – March, 2015 – Lorrie Zuber has been named 2014 Employee of the Year for Pottstown Memorial Medical Center. The recognition is the highest honor a hospital employee can receive. Employees are nominated for the award by their colleagues based on their commitment to patient care, their professionalism and their contributions on the job. Lorrie Zuber was chosen from among 1,060 employees for the recognition.

Lorrie Zuber began her career at Pottstown Memorial Medical Center as a volunteer in the Endoscopy department in 2012 and was later offered a position as a Patient Transport Aide in March 2013. Lorrie is currently serving as a Surgical Services Assistant of which she recently transferred to in February 2015.
“It is truly a delight to have Lorrie in our department,” says Corinne Oakland, Director of Surgical Services. “Lorrie exhibits phenomenal bed-side manner to our patients and has an uncanny niche for soothing the fears of every patient she encounters. She genuinely cares about everyone and treats all of her patients like family.”
